Enrollment in the French national healthcare system (La Sécurité Sociale)

Once you have started your new position and obtained your French work contract, we will start the enrollment process for you and your dependents in the French social security system. We will assist you every step of the way until you obtain your carte vitale, the national healthcare ID card.

Tip: To help us streamline this process, remember to bring to France your original birth certificate, which shows the names of your parents. This is one of the required documents.

Private health insurance

If you are arriving in France prior to starting your new job, we can assist you in obtaining a private insurance policy until you are eligible for national healthcare. Or, if you want a complementary health insurance policy, we can assist you with that as well.
